Windows 7 incorporated special processing for items located on its Taskbar.
In the case of Internet Explorer, a right-click on its shortcut
Icon, will include a History of recently visited sites in the popup
menu.
Some like this, some do not.
If you wish to disable this functionality, you should be able to so
with the instructions below.
1. Right-Click the Windows Icon
2. Select Properties from the dropdown menu
3. On the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window:
a. Choose the Start Menu tab on the

Store and display recently opened items in
the Start menu and the taskbar.
c. Click the Apply button
d. Click OK button
